Collect the Work

Acquisition

Original works are placed by inquiry.

Each painting is one object that will exist once. Rather than a checkout, acquisition begins with a conversation about the work, the wall it will live on, and whether the two belong together. Most placements are settled within a few days.

Inquiries are answered personally by the artist.

Collecting Originals

Availability

Works marked Available are unplaced and unreserved. Works marked Collected or Private Collection remain on the site as part of the record.

Pricing

Prices are provided on inquiry, with dimensions, medium, provenance, and framing details for the specific work.

Framing

Every original is framed by the artist in black with copper leaf. The frame is made for the painting it carries.

Reservation Period

An artwork may be reserved for up to one week.

Payment

Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and card payments processed through Squarespace. Card payment is completed through a secure payment link after the acquisition is confirmed.

Shipping

Domestic and international shipping costs are not included in the listed price of the artwork. Shipping, handling, insurance, customs, duties, and any other applicable delivery fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will be calculated separately.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every original work from The Iron Spur is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity documenting the artwork's title, year, medium, dimensions, framing, and provenance. The certificate serves as a permanent record of the work and its authenticity as an original piece by Michelle Evalle.

Trade & Design

Inquiries from interior designers and art consultants are welcome. Trade terms are available on request.

Placement by Conversation

The work is collected personally.

No shopping cart is required. When a work is selected, Michelle confirms availability, pricing, framing, shipping, and the preferred payment method with the collector.
